St.Patrick was a 5th century Romano British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland.St.Patrick's day celebrates the Roman Catholic feast day of the patron saint of Ireland.St.Patrick's day is celebrated March 17 because that is death day of St. Patrick.There really isn't any single reason to why we wear green on this day,but some say because shamrocks are green,green represents spring,and Ireland has a lot of green.Fun Fact:St.Patrick wasn't even Irish.According to legend St.Patrick used shamrocks to explain the Holy Trinity.Corned beef and cabbage is a traditional Irish dish made on this day.
