Student Success Statement
"Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others... but to get ahead of ourselves."
Thomas S. Monson
Reflection: I fully agree with this statement. Its only logical that as human beings are goals in life are based on succeeding and being better than one another and that's only natural. But what people don't realize is that when we get out of high school and die what was the point of trying to impress anyone? At the end of the day its just us and what we've made for and of ourselves that really counts. We need to better ourselves, make something of ourselves really prove that we deserve our position in life and find our path that leads us to who we really want to be not anyone else! That's just berserk! Living to please others! Living to be 'better' than anyone else! What is that? What kind of goal is it to decide to prove to everyone that you're better than them? That your more"superior"? What good will that do you?
Allopathic Physician (M.D)
Duties and Responsibilities: Physicians generally evaluate patients when they complain of an illness or discomfort, or upon regular annual physical health assessments.  Although examination details differ depending on specialty, physicians initially interview a patient to discover ailment history and overall health history, and proceed to examine the patient looking for additional clues to the cause of the patient’s complaint.  Often additional medical tests are required, including blood work, to assess biochemical indicators of general health or specific diseases.  A physician often writes an order for a pharmaceutical for the patient to take to either alleviate symptoms or to treat the disorder.
Salary: $150,000 - $300,000
Education: There are 126 allopathic medical schools in the United States, including three in Virginia (Medical College of Virginia, University of Virginia School of Medicine, and Eastern Virginia Medical School).  Most MD programs require 4 years of study, including emphasis on basic science, clinical work, and social science.

Well this seems like an okay job I wouldn't say it’s much in my field or profession. Sense this is a job of evaluation of the patient I wouldn't be that horrible at it. I succeed in observation and analysis.

“You cannot do wrong and
feel right. It is impossible.”

Ezra T. Benson

Reflection: I partially agree with this  quote reasons being that not every human is created the same.We all distribute emotion differently and interpret situations or problems differently. Some of us are immune to emotion,we don't "feel" we simply just are.

Well I don’t think this job is all that right for me.I don’t see myself such as a “fragile handed” person. I’d probably be too rough with someone. I also don’t really have the patience for this as well.

Reflection
: Well ophthalmology isn’t something I can really see myself doing nor can I see it being my profession. I don’t really find it to be as interesting or to my interest in observing eyes and vision care. Not that it is a horrid job but I would do it if I was offered to.
